Child and Family Services Review
Utah’s Child and Family Services participates in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Child and Family Services Federal Review and Evaluation (CFSR).
Our Statewide Assessment for the second CFSR was completed before the onsite review. The three counties chosen for involvement in the onsite review were Salt Lake County,
Washington County, and Weber County. These counties represent our urban and rural populations in the State
of Utah. The onsite review was conducted in June 2010.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has released its Executive Summary and Final Report about its findings from Utah’s second CFSR. Our Program Improvement Plan (PIP) is now in effect to address concerns found in the CFSR.
Utah’s first review occurred in April 2003. If you would like any information from the first review, please contact Linda Wininger, Director of Program and Practice Improvement at LSWININGER@utah.gov.
