Practice and Administrative Guidelines and Rules
Due to changes in the law, the way in which policy will be written and published is being changed. We will no longer have "policy" as such; we will have "Practice and Administrative Guidelines" and "Rules." Rules will have the same impact as law.
Our Practice Guidelines address direct interactions between caseworkers and clients or activities that directly impacts our work with clients. They are tools for employees to use in implementing practice in each of our program areas. These guidelines will be revised and updated from time to time - even now we are working on revisions.
Our Administrative Guidelines address our internal workings as an agency or our relationships with outside agencies.
